The Federation is a non-profitable, non-political, non-religious, charitable body having the following aims and objectives:

i) To motivate and support Thalassaemia Associations and work under the guidance of the Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF).
ii) To unite Associations within Pakistan in a coordinated struggle against Thalassaemia.
iii) To encourage government and official bodies to implement prevention and public education programmes regarding Thalassaemia.
iv) To promote and assist Thalassaemia research, improve treatment protocols, and support projects leading to a final cure of Thalassaemia.
v) To ensure optimal treatment and prevention for Thalassaemics in Pakistan
vi) To create awareness about Thalassaemia by educating the public and various health delivery organizations of Pakistan.
vii) To promote collaboration with the World Health Organisation, TIF and other national & international bodies
viii) To promote education, employment and integration of Thalassaemics into society.
